THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Oodles Noodles Restaurant Review:
Its rare for a pan-Asian restaurant to excel in several cooking styles, but Oodles Noodles manages to do so. The menu offers Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Chinese noodle dishes, all in serving pieces authentic to the country of origin. Any of these dishes make for a satisfying lunch or a light dinner: Thai drunken noodles, spicy Japanese seafood ramen, or rice-noodle soups in a Chinese clay pot. If youre nuts about noodles but on a budget, you can have just about any of the dishes here plus an appetizer or salad for far less than what pasta would cost you at one of the nearby upscale Italian restaurants. Theres a reason for the distinguished feats here: The owner is Jessie Yan, who also owns DCs hot spots Spices and Yanÿu. Also located at 1120 19th St. NW, Washington, DC, 202-293-3138.
