THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Oodles of Noodles Restaurant Review:
This is chef Amy Ferguson-Ota's place. Known for illustrious stints as executive chef at a couple of the Kohala Coast's finest resorts, here she has perfected her imagination and ability to conjure original East-meets-West dishes from fresh local ingredients. Where to begin? An appetizer: steamed dumplings in ginger scallion sauce. A soup: spicy tamarind saifun noodle soup with seafood. A salad: crisp Thai chicken, rice vermicelli with sweet-sour fish sauce. An entrée: Kona-style wok seared or cooked ahi noodle casserole---and those are just for lunch. Dinner has lots more---noodles by design and ka'boodles of noodles. There's also a kid's menu for tykes under nine. Our suggestion is to go hungry and stay awhile.
