Ops Restaurant Review:

Housed in a former garage in Bushwick, this pizzeria is more than just a neighborhood joint. First of all, the wine list is all natural. All bottles are priced the same ($48) and every wine can be ordered by the glass ($10). There’s no tipping. And the dimly lit atmosphere makes you want to linger for longer than you had planned. Fortunately, the food is good, too. Pies, cooked in a wood-fired oven, are made traditionally but with some quasi-creative toppings. Pops is finished with tomatoes, mozzarella, pecorino, pancetta and onions. The square Grandmother pizza is baked to a crisp, as it should be. Rojo boasts mortadella and peppers. Starters change but expect cheese plates and salads. Desserts are nonexistent, so order a limoncello and stay a while.
