Though small, Osome-one of the city's top sushi spots-boasts an extensive menu, and the food is consistently delectable. The maguro (tuna) is some of the freshest, richest-tasting sashimi we've had, and the rock and roll made of grilled eel and avocado is a rare delight. The beef roll of thinly sliced sirloin wrapped around Asian chives and served with teriyaki sauce and shredded cabbage is similarly delicious. More than 40 varieties of sushi are prepared here, as well as tempura, shabu-shabu and kaiseki dinners.
