About the restaurant: Like the original Ospi in Venice, this Brentwood restaurant comes from chef/owner Jackson Kalb and co-owner Melissa Saka. The name comes from ospitante ("host" in Italian), with the intention that guests will feel as comfortable as if they were at a friend's dinner party.
Food & Drinks: The menu features Californian takes on regional Italian cuisine, particularly from southern Italy. Expect house-made pastas and pizzas, plus dishes like butter chicken, sole Milanese and filet mignon. Also located at 2025 Pacific Ave., Venice, 424-443-5007.
