Outback Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Although the theme here is Australian, wearyingly so, the food is actually New Orleans steakhouse, not Ruth’s Chris, but not bad either, especially for the money. The Bloomin’ Onion, actually a Japanese tempura chrysanthemum onion, is served with an authentic New Orleans rémoulade. The steaks are seasoned New Orleans-style, but this is enough of a family restaurant operation that you can have almost anything grilled---from pork chops to vegetables. One would hope a steakhouse with an Australian theme would have a great list of Australian wine. Nope.
