THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Palm Restaurant Review:
The Palm's cozy rooms are decorated, in Palm fashion, with caricatures of local celebrities. Settle into one of the roomy, wood-backed booths or tables for the vaunted steaks and huge lobsters, along with accompaniments of freshly made potato chips, creamed spinach and the signature half cottage fries, half fried onions. There is much more on the menu, however, from lamb and pork chops to pastas and veal, reflecting the family owners' Italian heritage. The staff, in white jackets with names embroidered on the pockets, is friendly and upbeat. Skilled bartenders work at the high-ceilinged bar with its spinning fans, expertly whipping up drinks.
