The homey aesthetic and American cooking of this bustling Inner Sunset favorite mirrors that of its older sibling, Chow (located in the Castro). Starters such as baked goat cheese with walnut toasts; ample burgers, including a luscious lamb version; slow-roasted short ribs; and pasta dishes like spaghetti with meatballs satisfy in a way only good comfort food at even better prices can. Bountiful salads provide an ideal lead-in for spicy gingerbread cake doused in caramel sauce or chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.
