THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Parkside Restaurant Restaurant Review:

Along with the renovation of the hotel in which it is nestled, comes a renewal of the restaurant. The wine list, limited in the past to a few standard bottles, is now spruced up with more enticing options extending all the way to Dom Perignon. A fresh wind has also blown on the menu. The food and beverage director, Scott Parisis, with his chef Dominic Mashburn, are wise enough to propose a short menu offering steak, chicken and seafood that doesn’t take any risk and can hardly raise any criticism. This choice rightly befits the location. From the street, accessing the room in the back of the lobby requires some effort. But the diners who take the trip will be rewarded by simply but nicely executed dishes based on local products such as fresh Florida grouper, Gulf shrimps or Roma tomatoes. Soups are created daily and the mixed greens are served with crunchy roasted almonds and beefsteak tomatoes. The fish is prepared and served as you choose: grilled, poached, blackened, or roasted. The poultry is marinated with fresh herbs and grilled. The prices are as tender as the roast prime rib of beef. For a quiet and affordable evening, this is the place.
