Patio Espanol Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Located between the Excelsior and Daly City, Patio Español Restaurant is in the Unión Española de California, a rambling white building that could be a roadside hotel in central Spain. It has a large bar with small tables for tapas, and a big dining room for full lunches and dinners. The paella is quite good, but we like the tapas: grilled prawns in garlic sauce, squid in its own ink, grilled sausages and slices of ham.
