This spot is well off the main road, but well worth seeking out---and usually crowded. Your payoff will be excellent tofu and eggplant dishes and Mongolian lamb sizzling with garlicky flavors. If you arrive at lunchtime, you’ll find a popular luncheon buffet plus some lunchtime daily specials, including Hunan lamb, Mongolian lamb and chef’s special lamb. General Tso’s chicken is a mainstay. In the evenings, note that the menu offers both Peking duck and salted duck.
