West Bank Cafe Restaurant Review:
This charming Theater District café has been dishing up delicacies for over three decades---all without sacrificing the friendly spirit that makes locals come back again and again. Any of a number of California wines will pair well with your meal. Starters include lamb carpaccio with Moroccan spices, baby arugula, shaved artichokes and pecorino cheese; and ricotta gnocchi with mushroom ragoût, asparagus, peas and morel mushrooms. Signature main courses include oven-roasted free-range chicken with baby carrots, haricot verts, mashed potatoes and chicken jus; and grilled skirt steak with onion rings and creamed spinach.
