THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Picasso Grill Restaurant Review:
Chef-owner Fritz Siegfried makes it all look so simple: Classically trained in Switzerland, he assembles lovely meals and has made a permanent impression on the Potomac community that has patronized this restaurant for years. The menu has undergone some changes over the decades---it gets infused more and more often with the sunny flavors of the Mediterranean---but we'd always put our money on Siegfried's French onion soup, free-range chicken with pomme frites and (surprisingly), his hefty hamburger. His chicken club sandwich is also good, with layers of applewood-smoked bacon and tomatoes. Desserts are mandatory here---if the chocolate decadence cake appears on the menu, snap it up. It's a masterful layering of chocolate on chocolate.
