This branch of Polynesia Café bears little physical resemblance to the original ultra-casual and somewhat cramped space in Hanalei. Here it’s a full-service restaurant, and though the setting remains casual, with dining both indoors and out, the kitchen still serves up the same quality food---just not on paper plates. Breakfasts run toward hearty with selections like eggs Benedict and huevos rancheros, while house-ground burgers and deli-style sandwiches cater to the lunch crowd. Dinner choices feature fresh fish, Mexican selections and gourmet specials. The owners bake their own breads, buns, pastries and desserts.
