Prime Cut Cafe Restaurant Review:

A casual yet sophisticated interior pairs wood floors and dark wood furniture with striped, silk-like brocade on banquettes and modern lighting. The menu seems rather simple until the food arrives, then it’s evident that each dish has a certain flair. Start with the creamy four-cheese fondue or the tomato and basil bisque with a touch of goat cheese. For a healthier choice, we like the Fuji apple salad with arugula, candied pecans and blue cheese. The lunch menu is filled with gourmet burgers, sandwiches and unusual entrée salads, such as the chipotle ranch-topped filet mignon salad that comes with roast peppers, corn and jícama. Dinner is a bit more formal, which is reflected appropriately in the menu with items such as slow-roasted prime rib and juicy steaks, as well as 11-spice pan-roasted chicken, cider-brined pork chop served with butter-braised bacon, and seared Australian sea bass. The wine program is innovative, with several wine flights and well-chosen international options available by the taste, glass or bottle.
