: Quaint colonial charm characterizes the setting, where vintage diner signs with old adages --- “dreams do come true” and “sit long, talk much” --- adorn the otherwise bare beige and dark wood paneled walls of the bar room. The warmly lit dining room, set apart from the bar, is traditionally furnished, distinguishing it as a neighborhood spot, with Americana accents and framed photographs. The menu runs the gamut of cuisines from Tex-Mex pork quesadillas to Chinese springs rolls with a sweet Thai chili dipping sauce for starters. An array of salads ranging from a blackened shrimp to an Asian red leaf combination stands alongside conventional tavern-style entrées including chicken stew and hamburger. Eclectic European and Asian-inspired dishes, such as the grilled salmon and chicken francese, dot the menu. |
