THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Quarter Scene Restaurant Review:

The slightly funky Quarter Scene restaurant, identified as QSR on the sign outside, is always filled with fans of approachable food at low prices. The kitchen's repertoire is anything but consistent, but a few of the better bets are the gumbo, red beans and rice, omelets and hamburgers. Brunches, when a big variety of egg dishes come into play, are especially popular. Colorfully done up with latticework and wide windows, it draws a sizeable neighborhood crowd and has become a bit of a cult classic for its BYOB, no-corkage policy. A window table offers entertaining views of passersby on one of the Quarter's quieter blocks.
