This young-mom-and-pop coffee shop at the edge of the South End is the quintessential hole-in-the-wall---or would be if the walls weren’t chartreuse, the crowd within them studded with chefs, the breakfasts and lunches beyond satisfying. Owners Rachel Miller Munzer and Alon Munzer would go out of their way to make you feel at home if there were anywhere for them to go; as it is, they stand in their tiny kitchen and chat with you as they whip up the likes of brioche cinnamon toast, serious grilled cheese-and-bacon sandwiches and sushi-inspired California roll(-ups)---get it?---for mere Washingtons.
