Eat your way to health and happiness is a motto of this petite eatery owned and operated by Bob Saladino, a former supervisor of hospital patient services. Another motto is GROW, an acronym for Gourmet, Raw, Organic and Wholesome. Fruits, vegetables and nuts are the ingredients for nearly everything on the menu: chili soup; tabbouleh or Waldorf saladino; pizza; nori rolls; neatloaf, a blend of nuts and vegetables; lasagna made with thinly sliced marinated zucchini and mushrooms with cashew-almond ricotta cheese and spinach. You can eat all of Archangel Michael's heavenly delights---such as silk pie, replicating the flavor and texture of chocolate cream pie, created with carob, avocado and dates in a Brazilian nut crust---and not feel guilty, trust us.
