Half a block off the square, near a variety of pleasing bookstores, curio shops and antique stores, sits this modest Thai restaurant providing locals and visitors with warm, comfortable cuisine. Try the pad thai, pad kee mow, tempting ginger chicken, tom yum (hot!) soup, or any number of daily specials. The old house seems out of place as a setting for Thai food, but in the end, it all comes together. If the weather is right, try to sit at an outdoor table. There's a modest wine list but stick to Thai beers. Rin's is an effortless respite from over-the-top wine country dining.
