It's Finger Food Central here at this brightly lit little spot near the Washington University Medical Center. Lots of carry-out, of course, for this neighborhood but plenty of places are available to sit and chow down on various combinations of beef, pork, chicken and peel-and-eat shrimp, plus the occasional foray into a pan-fried pork chop or a grilled portobello sandwich. And when was the last time you saw home-style fried potatoes on a dinner menu? Yes, it's eclectic, but the barbecue is quite acceptable. And for those who have proclaimed, I could eat a truckload of this stuff, there are a number of large plastic toy dump trucks, used to serve a large order of the shrimp, which are very properly cooked. Beer, but no wine.
