THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Rose Room Restaurant Review:
Mount Kisco locals looking for a night on the town and home-style Sicilian fare head to this upscale but relaxed restaurant named after one of the proprietor's grandmother, whose recipes make up much of the menu. Dark wood, a wine storage room, and neon blue and pink ambient lighting blend classic elements with contemporary accents. Appetizers like shrimp and cauliflower cake, served with a tangy mango-ginger dressing, and tender grilled octopus in a citrus glaze are artfully presented. Entrées include orecchiette, sautéed broccoli rabe, Italian sausage and white beans tossed in garlic and oil, and a delicately breaded chicken cutlet with Marsala mushroom gravy and smoked mozzarella over garganelli. Desserts feature a smooth and creamy Nutella brownie sundae and classic tiramisu. The wine list’s Italian regional varietals and selections from California and other areas pair well with the menu.
