THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Roxy's Deli Restaurant Review:

Peter Glick and Gus Froyd were the pastrami kings of Seattle even before they opened this sliver of a sandwich shop near Pike Place Market. The scent of brisket braising has drawn more than one homesick New Yorker to Glick and Froyd’s CasCioppo Brothers meat-market-cum-deli in Ballard. Downtown there’s strictly deli fare and few seats. Most take their hot pastrami on rye, or their sausage hero dripping with chunky marinara, sautéed peppers and onions to go. Cold sandwiches include kippered salmon, amazing lox and a not-too-schmaltzy chopped chicken liver. Our favorite quick bite is the pastrambow, a sweet Chinese hombow stuffed with pastrami, sauerkraut and diced potatoes. Don’t leave without a half-sour pickle and a Dr. Brown’s Cel-Ray Soda.
