THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED You can't miss this large rustic log cabin-themed restaurant that's perched on the edge of Duck Creek. It's got that Upper Northwoods feel, with lots of picture windows looking out onto the forest and beams cutting through a long, narrow dining room that's packed with booths and tables. Look hard and you just might catch a glimpse of old Paul Bunyan peeking through the window at your food. The kitchen turns out plenty of tasty dishes from the wood-fired rotisserie and grill, such as roasted chicken, bourbon barbecue pork chops and cedar-baked salmon. We also suggest the spicy kielbasa sausage topped with grilled onions and green pepper wedged between French bread. And don't forget to whet your whistle with a mug of one of the house-made special brews, such as Bearpaw Oatmeal Stout, Northwoods Nut Brown or Honey Rail Pale.
