THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurant Review:
This memorable spot is part of an upscale national steakhouse chain that originated in New Orleans. A notable appetizer is the shrimp rémoulade cocktail made with plump Gulf shrimp dressed with classic Creole rémoulade or a spicy home-style New Orleans cocktail sauce. Its custom-aged U.S. Prime steak is hand-cut thick to preserve juices and flavor during cooking. Its trademark: Steaks are served sizzling in butter on a heated plate and they stay hot throughout the meal. Replicating the menu of its cousin on Paradise Road, all the usual offerings are here and done beautifully: filet mignon, New York strip, rib-eye and T-bone. Quality dishes for those who don't want beef include lamb chops, broiled marinated chicken breast, Australian lobster tail and salmon filet. Leave room for signature desserts such as chocolate-espresso sin cake and bananas Foster, accompanied Wednesday through Saturday evenings by live jazz.
