THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sage on Sycamore Restaurant Review:

THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Frenchman Rémy Kerba, who also owns Le Giverny, and his cousin, Roy Jurdak, created this buzz-filled neighborhood bistro on Decatur's Historic Square. The restaurant's executive chef, Wayne Hamilton, continues many of the restaurant's notable dishes, such as the jerked chicken breast on red bean risotto with spicy mango salsa. Accompanied by a jalapeño tartar sauce and a tangy, thick marinara, the flash-fried calamari is always reliably crisp, plump and sweet. Even better, the mussels Provençale come in a seductively creamy sauce. Both are among the appetizers available in half orders, and the portions are plenty for the purpose. Saga classic meatloaf is made with Black Angus beef, and comes with whipped Yukon Gold potatoes and haricots verts. For dessert, the cheesecakes are winners---we recommend the peach---and the Mochatini is a nifty invention. Steak frites night on Thursdays offers a two-course meal featuring a flat-iron steak with peppercorn cream sauce and a generous salad.
