Santa Fe Restaurant Review:

Just steps away from City Park, Santa Fe owners Lale Ergun and Carlos Lourenco transformed the old (and much-beloved) Gabrielle Restaurant building into this intimate, softly lit indoor dining space and temperature-controlled outdoor patio. Menu-wise, be prepared for unpredictable flavor pairings such as grilled scallops with pineapple salsa, or a Spanish omelet served with sweet potato purée. On a balmy evening, aim for an outside table, often the site of easy-listening Spanish-inspired live music, which seems to make the hazelnut cappuccino cheesecake go down easily. Drawbacks include service that’s friendly but a bit slow, so sometimes the food sits too long before it gets to the table. Also, the wine list is unexpectedly brief for cooking that’s so diverse, but on a warm night, the house sangría is pure delight.
