THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CLOSED. This is inexpensive, adventurous dining at its best. Steam tables hold dish after dish of delicious, slow-cooked fare, like tender pork with creamy eggplant. Goat, chicken and fish preparations round out the line-up. Rice and well-seasoned beans are popular side dishes. The capstone is the homemade flan (a coarse textured version) with good, strong coffee. No alcohol is served. The Gainesville location has live music on weekends.
