When the street side windows are flung open in summer, this is a very pleasant place. The interior is more austere---fairly beige---but you can cruise the shores of the Mediterranean on the menu. Start with a platter of cold salads: lain, hummus, baba ghanouj, and grape leaves, then touch down for Israeli falafel in pita bread. Greek or Israeli salads, shish kabob, and shawarma are all good. For Italian dishes, there’s pizza or a spicy penne arrabiata. They don’t hit Spain or Morocco, but they do burgers for the less intrepid. Finish with a jolt of Lebanese coffee and some baklava.
