THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Scorpion Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

Before this Huntington Beach hot spot actually opened its doors, no one was quite sure what kind of restaurant it would be---or, indeed, whether it would serve food at all. Then, rumors seeped out about a West Hollywood-meets-Old-West theme, and when the place opened, they turned out to be true. The décor here is Lonesome Dove on peyote, with hints of Indiana Jones and Sunset Boulevard thrown in for good measure. Scorpions? All present and accounted for, in its glass-walled terrariums. Creepy? Only if you get nose-to-pincer with them. Though the cuisine seems sometimes to be an afterthought, it's pretty darn good, if uninspired for the most part. There are stuffed mushrooms, French onion soup and Caesar salad to start; and Prime steaks, pasta and seafood as main courses. Standard steakhouse fare, it fills the stomach and satisfies the palate without challenging it. After your meal, you can kick back, drink martinis, and ogle scantily clad go-go dancers and muscle-bound beach boys.
