Tourists and residents alike know certain icons of good food, and Shells, a successful franchise to emerge from the West Coast of Florida, has restaurants sprinkled throughout the South. The menu emphasizes, of course, seafood---catfish, shrimp, crab legs, lobster and fresh fish of the day. Many items are served with or on pasta. One of our favorites is Seafood Siciliano, a seafood mix with tomatoes, mushrooms and onions sautéed in an Italian red sauce. There could be a few more desserts on the menu---four seems to be the standard. Other locations.
