THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Shula's Steak House Restaurant Review:

Football coaching great Don Shula has launched a successful group of steakhouses nationwide and these have now touched down in the Washington metro area. The big news here is big steaks, as in custom cuts of Angus beef, from a filet mignon to a 48-ounce porterhouse steak. For a double dose of beef, start off with the Shula's steak soup, which tastes a little like Hungarian goulash without the pepper. You'll find the requisite Caesar salads in many different guises. The menu boasts options besides steaks, including such entrées as salmon and a chicken and lobster Oscar or lighter dishes, such as the knife and fork sandwiches, which are too big to pick up easily. At least, the rare hamburger was a real handful and with the side of hot, crispy fries, enough to satisfy any yearning for steak and at a much lower price.
