This is a neighborhood hangout, and if you drop by in the late afternoon, chances are you’ll find a chatty crew at the bar swapping tales with the bartender. Actually, think Cheers and you’ve got the picture. What you should also add to this picture are some of the region’s best burgers. If you are not in the mood for one of the innovative Whaleburgers, you can turn your attention to the main menu, where grilled strip steaks, pastas, hefty sandwiches and fried seafood dishes predominate. Our suggestion: Start with the Super Nachos and finish with a Mexican Whaleburger, then add on a wedge of Key lime pie.
