Soup's On Baltimore Restaurant Review

: A family-owned concern, Soup’s On Baltimore has a repertoire of about 200 soups. But don’t worry; customers have to sort through only about a dozen daily, divided between vegan, vegetarian, meat, seafood, and even some dessert soups. Stocks are homemade and low-sodium and ingredients are topnotch. Offerings range from Maryland crab to vegetarian butternut squash and there’s sure to be something on the roster to suit any soup fan. The menu is rounded out with a few salads and sandwiches, also praise-worthy and remarkably inexpensive. Orders are placed at a rear window and most customers carry out, but the small row house space, with its jaunty yellow walls and cozy Victorian hearth, is a cheerful place to dine-in for lunch or for an early dinner (closing time 8 p.m. weekdays, 6 p.m. Sunday).
