Spaghettini Restaurant Review:
Spaghettini may be best known for its live jazz and R&B scene. World-class as well as up-and-coming acts, both local and touring, come here to play in the lounge. But even with the musical overtones, owners Laurie Sisneros and Cary Hardwick have made sure that the venue’s contemporary fare does not fall out of rhythm. Plenty of the items served are show-stopping, such as the shrimp starter with Pommery mustard and cream, to mains like the New Zealand lamb rack with cipollini onions and port wine reduction. Those who want a sweet bite for the performance should indulge in the simple vanilla butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream. The Sunday jazz brunch is lavish with free-flowing Domaine Ste. Michelle sparkling wine, Woodbridge wines, fresh-baked muffins, California-style salads, Italian pastas, traditional American breakfast dishes, waffles, a fresh seafood station and house-made desserts. Although the restaurant is family-friendly, expect a hopping bar scene later at night.
