THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Spiced Right Ribhouse Barbecue Restaurant Review:
After buying the original Spiced Right in Lilburn, open since 1988, Charlotte and Rob Holloway launched a second operation in Roswell. The third location is in Suwanee, a fine replica of a barbecue shack, complete with faux rusty corrugated metal roofing. Shiny hubcaps serve as artwork. Get the ribs: nicely smoked with good firmness to the bite and a sweet smokiness in the meat, which shows the pink smoke ring that assures it was smoked over wood. We suggest the Brunswick stew and slaw as sides. The corn soufflé seemed a bit dry on our visit. Two sauces, one sweet and the other just barely spiced, are made in-house. Banana pudding gets it done for dessert, and is served in a portion that will feed at least two persons. Beer and some wine are offered, and of course sweet tea.
