THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Strollo’s Cucina Due Restaurant Review:

This upscale, loft-like grocery and deli has high ceilings and big bright windows. One side is stocked with imported pastas, sauces, wine and other goodies, or if you prefer, you can carry out cold salads and specialties such as the white lasagna to reheat at home. A small bakery turns out decent loaves of sourdough and the sweets counter has couture cupcakes and oversize cookies. But most of the patrons are lining up for the gourmet sandwiches and salads. Pressed sandwiches include the roast pork with Emmental cheese, tomatoes, aïoli and garlic pickles; toasted sammies range from chicken and snow pea to pepper and egg; and there are cold creations like the PLT---pancetta, tomatoes and romaine. Soups and sides are superfluous.
