THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Stromboli Cafe Restaurant Review:

Stromboli's looks groovy in a Euro-inspired way, and the icy cold Red Bulls at the counter tip you off that the crowd it's aiming for is most definitely the well-heeled kids from the neighborhood and Southern Methodist University across the street. Lots of totally important cell phone chatter is a constant with this crowd. But the New York-style pizzas are good enough, the panini properly made with great crunchy slabs of toasted white bread and calzones are puffy bombs of crust stuffed with mozzarella, sausage and mushrooms---enough to stave off even the biggest hunger. Just be patient with the counter help, mostly very nice but too often you have to help them along with the ordering process; luckily the kids in the kitchen seem to know what they're doing.
