THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sundays on the Bay Restaurant Review:
Tucked comfortably into mangroves, Sundays is a laid-back vacation resort masquerading as a restaurant. It even has a boat dock where diners can tie up. A 200-plus item brunch buffet is a glutton’s paradise. Simple doesn’t mean plain or mundane here. Uncomplicated preparations allow the impeccably fresh seafood to be the star. It’s no wonder this is Miami’s most popular casual destination-point restaurant. Snapper Livornese is sautéed with olive oil, olives, capers, garlic and tomatoes. Service is a little slow, but stretching this meal into an afternoon or making an entire evening of it is not only a pleasure, but also as relaxing as an escape to the lower Keys minus the stressful drive.
