Super Cocina Restaurant Review

: Think you need to spend a bundle to eat authentic cuisine from another country? At Super Cocina, one can eat true Mexican casera comida (home cooking) for less than a ten spot. At any one visit you can choose from between 20-plus selections, all served cafeteria-style with rice, beans and homemade corn tortillas. Choices may range from chicken-and-green bean stew, tender carnitas, shrimp cakes and cactus pads. The specialty of the house is an extremely spicy pork concoction called peccadillo---tender pork pieces simmered in a chile Colorado sauce. The potato and cheese patties are handmade, breaded and fried, and made from potatoes, cotija cheese and seasonings. The menu changes daily to provide more than 180 different culinary delights from different regions of Mexico.
