Table 1280 Restaurant Review:

Step off the elevator and before entering the restaurant, enjoy the Roy Lichtenstein House III (1997), a painted aluminum sculpture sitting on the center's grounds. The soaring, modern white interior leads one to expect exciting things from the kitchen, but alas, it's not to be. And it’s expensive. While competently grilled rare as ordered, our filet came with a "chimichurri" that added nothing to the flavor, and was accompanied by a bouquetière of carrots and fingerling potatoes whose impact relied entirely on garlic. Apple fritters for dessert promised a caramel dipping sauce that in reality was squirts of sauce on the plate. We settled on a Seven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon from Wahluke Slope, Wash., from the skimpy wine list, but its painfully high alcoholic heat, exacerbated by a high serving temperature, was unpleasant. Adding to the economic insult, parking in the deck is $12, none of it complimentary; less expensive parking may be found nearby.
