Taco Mac Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: Taco Mac’s story begins in 1979, when a couple of guys from Buffalo, New York, stopped in Atlanta on their way to Florida. After looking around, they decided to stay, and the restaurant, now with numerous locations in several states, was launched. The interior is literally festooned with TVs, making it easy to watch sporting events no matter where you're seated.

Likes: The TVs and how they're positioned to give every patron a chance to view a screen.
Dislikes: The atmosphere can get a little raucous from time to time, but that's how it is when millennials gather to have fun.

Food & Drinks: The team claims to have brought buffalo wings to Atlanta, and while we're not sure that's true, we'll at least grant that they serve good ones. A midnight burger craving is easily sated, but all meals should start with those delicious wings. And yes, there are tacos as well as other items inspired by Tex-Mex and Mexican fare. Although the wine list is unremarkable, Taco Mac may offer more brews than just about any other spot in town. We like getting a 5-ounce pour of a draft so we can sample a couple of different suds with a meal. Open until 2 a.m. daily except Sunday when it closes at midnight.
