: Tandoori Nights’ décor takes on the look of modern India, with muted colors, vivid patterns, and a mural inspired by an Indian love poem. Some patrons may come to gawk, but chances are those in the know come to eat. There's an appetizer platter with its assortment of pakoras, one samosa, chicken tikka and mini ground-meat (or seekh) kebabs and three different chutneys. In addition to the breads, we recommend the lamb vindaloo, so often mismanaged, but not here; the chicken tikka and chicken vindaloo; and complex Indian meats like sikandari lamb---a grilled marinated leg of lamb---and baby goat meat cooked in the North Indian style. |
