Taqueria Distrito Federal Restaurant Review:

Duck mole, on offer either by special request or on certain days of the week, forms the basis for the sturdy tacos that make this place such a draw. We also recommend the burrito chorizo, a blend of spicy sausage with crispy pork. Other options include more tacos as well as tortas (sandwiches filled with jamón, Milanesa de pollo, carne asada, and pechuga de pollo a la plancha), assorted tostadas and quesadillas plus alambre of grilled chicken and beef with jalapeños. This rundown does not consider the weekend’s robust pozole or menudo. Taquería Distrito Federal serves a Mexican-style breakfast every morning --- think huevos rancheros and other egg dishes. Desserts are limited to a creamy flan, served in small plastic cups, making take-out simpler. Also located in the Petworth neighborhood at 805 Kennedy St. NW.
