Looking for fresh Gulf Coast shrimp? Texas Shrimp Shack sells plenty of it, including by the pound. You can choose head-on or headless, shell-on or shell-off; no matter your preference, they're all paired with your choice of four flavors and heat levels. Our favorite is the shell-off shrimp, boiled in spicy garlic butter. The crustaceans arrive with boiled corncobs and red potatoes, and there are basic TexMex sides, too, like chili con queso and guacamole with baskets of hot chips. You can also order shrimp nachos, shrimp tacos and even a decent burger or steak. But the main draws here are the fresh shrimp and strong margaritas.
