Thai House’s festive décor of ethnic themes and bright, lively colors makes for a warm and inviting setting. Although appetizers hold little for those eschewing deep-fried indulgence, they give a good indication of classic Thai flavors. Try the crispy rice noodles with shrimp in a sweet-and-sour sauce. Or go for one of the few lighter choices including the steamed ground pork and shrimp Thai dumplings served with soy vinaigrette. Still, as a whole, entrées demonstrate much more flexibility in terms of preparation. Steamed jumbo shrimp, scallops, squid, mussels, and mixed vegetables seasoned with basil leaves and lemongrass offers all the diversity of ingredients and flavor without the fiery effect.
