![]() : The small storefront on Royal Oak's busy Main Street usually is packed to the gills. People often are two-deep at the bar, which shares the space with equally crammed tables covered with blue-and-white-checked cloths. It's all part of the tavern experience. As the name indicates, fresh, raw oysters on the half shell take center stage. Beyond that, there are other reasons to come here as well. Check out the foie gras steamed clams; lobster bisque; crispy fresh sardines; fisherman's stew with scallops, shrimp and mussels; and cold dishes like the lobster taco and Saku tuna. Don't miss out on desserts such as the goat cheese panna cotta and Key lime parfait. |
