THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Trattoria Il Panino Restaurant Review:

The multi-level Franklin Street spot, the original high-end Il Panino, is quite odd. Sure it’s good looking, but it’s also a parody of itself in just as many ways. Think of Gold’s Gym meets the Godfather and you’ll get the picture. The first floor pizza-pasta trattoria is quite active and we like it the best thanks to excellent thin crust pizzas and some nice pasta dishes. The formal dining room tries hard but many dishes are more pretentious than delicious. Hey, but it doesn’t stop a big bucks crowd who digs the scene.
