Triple George Grill, Las Vegas, NV

Triple George Grill Restaurant Review:

The centerpiece of this handsome bar and grill, featuring lots of rich dark wood and a stainless steel exhibition kitchen, is the massive 38-seat bar. There’s a glassed-in wine closet, semi-private booth seating, traditional table and chair seating, old-Las Vegas photos adorning the walls and a piano lounge that also serves as a private room. The extensive menu and even more extensive wine list appear to be designed for every taste and pocketbook. Among appealing appetizers are bruschetta, baked goat cheese marinara and oysters on the half shell; soups include New England chowder and baked onion. Popular salads are the salmon or chicken Caesar, grilled chicken Cobb, ahi and crab Louie. We like the charbroiled ahi and pan-sautéed sole, topped with lemon-butter sauce and served with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, baked Idaho potato or rice pilaf, as are all seafood dishes, and steak and chops. George’s favorites include chicken potpie, veal scallopine and pot roast. House specialties are cioppino, crab-stuffed shrimp, grilled Dungeness crab cakes and roasted lemon-herb chicken. Sweet finales include Theresa's carrot cake, George’s ice cream puff and bourbon bread pudding.
