Formerly the Pier Restaurant, the Twin Dolphin has been renovated extensively, giving diners more windows to watch the boat traffic along Manatee River. Nautical décor fits the seafood theme, although the menu also includes steaks and ribs. Grouper Oscar comes with a crabmeat sauce laced with wine. The seafood platter has scallops, shrimp, crabcakes and fresh fish, all deep-fried in a special batter. The most popular appetizer is tuna sashimi. Tables are a bit more upscale than many venues that emphasize seafood, with white tablecloths, china and crystal.
